New to Alfresco? Need to design custom content models? Optimal deployment of the system requires modeling content to your business needs. This course guides you through all the principles you need to know to design, build and deploy your own custom content models.
Description: This entry level eLearning course is designed for administrators and developers new to Alfresco. During the course, students build and deploy a new custom content model from the ground up, utilizing fundamentals, principles, and rules of content modeling. Through a series of lectures, demonstrations and lab exercises you will learn about the concepts behind Alfresco’s content modeling in an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform. Content models are the core of ECM organization and management principles. This course clearly separates the ECM from a “simple file system” by describing the theory, design, and use of Alfresco’s content model. In addition to the fundamentals, this course will provide the student with the knowledge and confidence to customize their own content models.
Audience: Administrators and Developers.
Prerequisites: XML Knowledge
Important: You will have access to the course content for a full year from the date you enrolled. However, if you have a Virtual Machine assigned to the course, the VM will only be available for a total of 30 days from your enrollment. Ensure you complete all lab exercises within this window.
