Essentials of ACS High Availability and Scalability

Essentials of ACS High Availability and Scalability

In this lesson, you will be introduced to the various components of an ACS instance where High Availability (HA) and Scalability can be achieved to optimize your Alfresco ACS infrastructure.

About this course

Summary: In this lesson, you will be introduced to the various components of an ACS instance where High Availability (HA) and Scalability can be achieved to optimize your Alfresco ACS infrastructure. You will be exposed to potential Points-of-Failure (POFs) and provided techniques and guidance to configure for both infrastructure designs.

Audience: Advanced ACS Administrators

Prerequisites: Students must meet the following prerequisites:

  • An intermediate to advanced conceptual understanding of network infrastructure optimization
  • A conceptual understanding of
  • Alfresco ACS Installation
  • Clustering and node configuration

Duration:  20 mins

Objectives: At the end of this lesson, the student will be able to:

  • Describe the method that Alfresco uses to achieve High Availability and Scalability.
  • Identify the potential Points-of-Failure (POFs) during implementation planning or in your current Alfresco ACS deployment.
  • Demonstrate which screens in Alfresco ACS provide you with clustering information.

Access: You will have access to this content for 365 days from enrollment.

Outline:

  • Overview of High Availability and Scalability
  • High Availability and Scalability Solutions
  • Implementing High Availability and Scalability
  • High Availability and Scalability Demonstration

Curriculum

  • Essentials of ACS High Availability and Scalability Content
  • Lesson Survey
