Alfresco University provides a number of Docker Compose based training environments which can be used to develop skills and knowledge in conjunction with training courses based on Alfresco Process Services.

Alfresco University provides a number of Docker Compose based training environments which can be used to develop skills and knowledge in conjunction with training courses based on Alfresco Process Services.

These environments can be launched on a student's own laptop or infrastructure and can be used for as long as required.

  • Launching the Lab Environment on Windows
  • Launching the Lab Environment on MacOS
  • Validating the Lab Environment
  • Accessing the Lab Environment
  • Troubleshooting the Lab Environment

Target Audience

This Alfresco Process Services environment is suitable for use by the following roles:

  • Administrator

Time Required: ~30 minutes

Applicable Product Versions: 1.9 - 1.9

Difficulty: Foundation

Prerequisite Knowledge

Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose is required to the use the Alfresco Process Services environments.

Prerequisite Resources

The following components are required to launch the Alfresco Process Services Base Deploy environment:

Either:

  • Docker Community Edition (macOS and Windows 10) with 10GB of RAM allocated
  • Docker Toolbox (Windows 7 and 8) with 10GB of RAM allocated
