Description: In this short module, we’ll discuss how to install and configure Alfresco Process Services 1.4 via two different methods: the Alfresco Process Services Installer, and by using two .WAR distributions. Along the way, we’ll teach you how to apply your license files, start and stop your server, and verify that your installation completed successfully.

Audience: Alfresco Process Services System Administrators

Prerequisites: N/A

Important: Important: You will have access to the course content for a full year from the date you enrolled. However, if you have a Virtual Machine assigned to the course, the VM will only be available for a total of 30 days from your enrollment. Ensure you complete all lab exercises within this window.

Course Outline: 

In this module students will learn how to install Alfresco Process Services using two methods:

  • Using the installation wizard, this is the simplest way to install Alfresco Process Services and is recommended for testing the Alfresco Process Services platform. This method walks you through using a step by step process.
  • Using .war files, this is a more advanced installation process and is the recommended method for production systems. This method uses the Alfresco Process Services.war files and requires more configuration but also allows for more site specific configuration.
