Learning Resources
Our goal with all of our training is to make it cost effective and to ensure you can make immediate use of the new knowledge you have gained. You can make more of your Alfresco training by pre-reading, watching videos and pre-recorded webinars, taking tutorials or listening to podcasts.
Some courses require you to use some of the resources here as a pre-requisite, but even when they don't you may find these training resources useful.

Discovering Alfresco is a short self-paced eLearning course covers so of the basics about Alfresco. You will find out about the different editions of Alfresco, why organizations buy Enterprise, and use cases for the Alfresco system. You will also get an introduction to the technology and the user interfaces. Finally we round out by covering the services which we provide to Enterprise customers through Customer Services
Videos
These videos can be used to give you a quick understanding of various aspects the Alfresco user interface and are particularly suited to end users. They user interface used for these videos is Alfresco Team, this user interface is comparable to the user interface available in Enterprise 4.0.

| 360 Workflow | This is the workflow course based on the jBPM workflow engine. This is made available because many customers are still using the jBPM workflow engine with 3.x. Additionally the certification exams are based on 3.x and workflow questions relate jBPM. This course has been replaced by the Alfresco Activiti Workflow course. | |
| 2140 API Development | This is the original API development course. This is made available because it is still valid for 3.x systems and can be helpful if you are revising for the Alfresco certifications. It also contains useful information about the Spring Framework, content transformers and metadata extractors. This course has no direct replacement, but the topics covered here are now covered in the following courses: Alfresco Fundamentals, Web scripts and Share Configuration. The section entitled "Extending the Alfresco Repository" is not covered by any current courses. |
