Recognized Accreditation Level
Reaching the Recognized Accreditation level is more difficult than simply attending training. In order to reach this level you will need to take, and pass, a self-test. Participation in the Recognized Accreditation level is by invitation only. The self-test runs online with registrations happening once a week and takes between 60-90 minutes to complete.
What this means
When you pass the self-test you will become an Alfresco Recognized Developer and a certificate will be issued to you. A partner may become a Recognized Alfresco Partner by having the requisite number of Alfresco Recognized Developers for their level of partnership.
The test is not monitored and taking the test does not grant any certification credentials. If you are interested in pursuing certification you should look to the Certified Accreditation level of the Accreditation Programme.
About the test
This is a single test covering many areas of the Alfresco product namely: fundamentals, administration, application development, architecture and deployment, web content management and workflow. The questions range from simple to difficult and have all be devised by acknowledged Alfresco experts both within Alfresco Software, Authorized Training Partners and the Community.
The question topics are wide ranging and address topics covered by the following Alfresco courses:
- Intensive Development
- Introductory Systems Administration
- Web Content Management for Developers
- Alfresco Workflow
You will have a set time to complete the test, it must be completed within a set period and you will have the ability to retake the test - but only a limited number of times.
