Alfresco Fundamentals is available as a self paced course, generally taking 16-18 hours to complete.
It covers a wide range of basic Alfresco skills and is a rapid but firm foundation in our open source architecture, configuration, content modeling and application development using Alfresco.
Alfresco Fundamentals is a gateway to the entire curriculum and is intended to bring Project Managers, Technical Architects and Business Analysts up to speed quickly with Alfresco technology.
You don’t need prior experience of Alfresco, but you do need practical experience of Windows or Linux Operating Systems and of configuring systems using XML.
An Introduction to Systems Administration is also available as a self paced course which can be completed in the same time.
The course is designed to introduce first time administrators to the concepts and techniques required to administer and manage an enterprise content management system built on Alfresco. It introduces our product architecture, users and groups, managing the repository, security, storage, installation and upgrades, backup and recovery.
Once again, you don’t need prior experience of Alfresco, but you do need practical experience of Windows or Linux Operating Systems and of configuring systems using XML.
The online, self-paced training is part of an overall blended-learning curriculum taught in a modular fashion. Once registered, Alfresco eLearning can be accessed for up to 45 days.
